Recently, Meta's Chief AI Scientist Yann LeCun stated that Autonomous Machine Intelligence (AMI) can genuinely assist people in their daily lives. Meta is working to enhance the reasoning capabilities of its Llama model, aiming to rival top models like GPT-4o. Meta's Vice President Manohar Paluri mentioned that they are exploring ways to enable the Llama model not only to 'plan' but also to assess decisions in real-time and adjust as conditions change.
